Spirtea in Richmond is recently selling Mille crepe cake from Lady M, and it is priced at $19.50 per slice. It is definitely a luxurious and unaffordable treat for me, so I decided to make my own version. I did some research on how to master the perfectly thin slice of crepe. Tiramisu is my all-time favourite, and while it is difficult to find a delicious one in Vancouver, I guess it is best to make my own. Over the weekend, I wanted to make Shao Bing with my limited pantry. It is a common Chinese pastries that made with glutinous rice flour. It is an inexpensive treat that doesn’t require an oven or electric mixer. Instead of the classic red bean paste filling, I made some Tea-Infused Custard Cream, so it oozes out when biting into it. It may sound like so much work, but I promise it is easier than it sounds.
